Hoya UV Fusion Antistatic 112 mm

UV-Filter/Schutzfilter
Item Nr. 51435
  • Hoya UV/protective filter
  • new antistatic coating repels dust
  • ultra-clear high transmission
  • water and stain repellent
  • easy to clean
  • filters unwanted UV light

HOYA engineers have developed a new ANTISTATIC coating that acts like a force field around the filter and repels dust. These filters are ideal for environments where dust is common and require less frequent cleaning and maintenance than conventional filters. In addition, the hardened, anti-static top layer is water-repellent and dirt-repellent and is easy to clean if smudges or fingerprints get onto the surface. The UV filter reduces unwanted ultraviolet rays, reduces haze and increases clarity.

The new professional FUSION anti-static filters are made in Japan from hand-selected silicates that are carefully melted and blended to create high-performance optical glass. HOYA then applies extreme care and precision to apply the enhanced 18-layer super-multi-coating formula (on both sides), which greatly reduces or eliminates reflections on the glass surface and results in an ultra-clear, high transmission rate. This means that the filter has virtually no effect on the color balance, contrast or clarity of the final image.

The filter features a lightweight, one-piece, flat aluminum frame that houses the glass. This one-piece construction allows the filter to be perfectly parallel to the sensor plane for maximum sharpness, while the flat shape prevents vignetting when used with ultra-wide angle lenses.
