The Nikon Z6/Z7 Cage is a compact and lightweight camera cage for the Nikon Z6 and Z7 full-frame mirrorless cameras. The camera is attached to the cage via a 1/4"-20 screw and is held securely in position via the strap eyelets. The attached hand strap in combination with a separately available side handle, such as the Zacuto Side Handle or Zacuto Zarn, enables comfortable working with the camera.

For attaching additional accessories, the cage has numerous 1/4"-20 threads and a piece of Z-Rail for attaching a carrying handle (Top Handle). There are two 1/4"-20 and one 3/8"-16 threads on the base for mounting the camera cage on a tripod plate. A built-in Arca-Swiss-compatible plate allows the cage to be attached to an Arca-Swiss-compatible base plate, such as the Polaris Mounting Plate from Zacuto. This camera cage is therefore compatible with the Polaris Baseplate, which allows it to be used as a shoulder rig.
