In our F:X Pro filter series, we have refined our ND (Neutral Density) filters, among others. The purpose of ND filters is to reduce the light falling on your camera sensor. The filters, which are available in the sizes 100 x 100 millimetres and 150 x 150 millimetres, have been provided with our Luminance Coating so that they are 99.5 percent reflection-free. This guarantees razor-sharp images - even with "high-end" cameras with 150 MP. The color fidelity is exemplary, which means that you can capture your surroundings exactly as you saw them.

This is why you need ND filters:
Depiction of movement through longer exposure times
Removal of moving objects from the image
Highlighting the subject by blurring the background
Increasing the aperture - reducing the depth of field

Our ND filters are available in various intensities and stops. A stop means that the amount of light reaching the sensor is reduced by one f-stop. Depending on which filter with how many stops you use, you have to increase your shutter speed by the same number of stops. This enables you to take magically drawn pictures with longer exposure times, even in sunshine. You can blur moving elements of your image composition, for example, which ensures that the water looks silky when shooting a river - but larger stones in the river are sharply defined because they are not moving. Do you want to photograph a tourist attraction such as the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, but preferably without people in the picture? This is also no problem with an ND filter. Due to the long exposure, only the still architecture remains in the picture. However, plan enough time for your long exposure shot, as it can take several minutes to an hour, depending on the setting.

Our ND filters are available in these strengths and sizes:
100 mm ND8 (3 stops / 0.9)
100 mm ND64 (6 stops / 1.8)
100 mm ND1000 (10 stops / 3)
100 mm ND2000 (11 stops / 3.3)
100 mm ND4000 (12 stops / 3.6)

Depending on how much light you want to hit the sensor, you can of course combine our filters with each other. And to ensure that no light reflection is visible on your work that doesn't belong there, our rectangular filters also have a foam seal that prevents light from entering between the filter and the Lens.

Gorilla® glass makes our filters extremely durable. Its special manufacturing process makes it particularly resistant and at the same time ensures high light transmission and color neutrality. Our anti-scratch layer makes dirt easy to remove and also gives the glass its special hardness. But it is not only scratch and break resistant - it is also temperature resistant. We have tested this under the highest quality standards in extreme heat and extreme cold. Do you want the best filters we have ever made? With our F:X Pro you get it.
