You can choose between automatic and manual operation. In automatic TTL mode (Through The Lens), the camera measures the exposure through the Lens and determines the amount of light for the flash. No setting or exposure corrections are necessary when using filters, extension tubes, etc.

In manual mode, you can set the flash output individually. This can be freely selected and fine-tuned via the 8-stage adjustment range between 1/1 and 1/128. The strobe light function allows the flash to be triggered in quick succession.
