Currently the most extreme wide-angle zoom lens for full-frame cameras. Designed specifically for travel, Venus Optics has found a compromise between the smallest Lens in its class (less than 10cm) and light weight (less than 500g). The angle of view between 102° (18mm) and 130° (10mm) offers the photographer enough freedom to create landscape or architectural shots with ease.

The lens has 14 elements in 10 groups with 2 aspherical elements and one element with extra low dispersion to achieve exceptionally high-quality images. Thanks to the short focusing distance of just 15 cm, macro shots are possible that look sharp from front to back and whose foreground is extremely emphasized. A filter slot on the back accepts 37 mm filters. A special magnetic filter holder accommodates 100 mm rectangular filters (other extreme wide-angle Lens need 150 mm rectangular filters). The aperture can be changed from a click-stop aperture to stepless aperture adjustment with a switch, ideal for photo or video shoots. When shooting against the sun or a light source, a perfect 10-beam reflex is achieved thanks to the 5 aperture blades.
