Kowa 77mm spotting scope with XD objective lens.
Superior performance in a compact body

The performance and compactness of these spotting scopes is unsurpassed in this class. The body is waterproof to JIS protection class 7 and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent fogging inside

The PROMINAR TSN-773/774 models use an XD objective lens with low dispersion properties to minimize chromatic aberration. It is equipped with the established Kowa dual focus system. The fast focus with a large and sensitive knob focuses from infinity to five meters in two turns. The smaller, extremely sensitive fine focus knob guarantees extremely precise focusing even at high magnifications. A feature that is also extremely important for digiscoping.

The combination of an XD lens (eXtra-Low Dispersion lens) with a concave lens with special dispersion properties greatly reduces chromatic aberration.

Please note that an eyepiece is required to use the spotting scope.
