  • Cokin filter holder EVO XL BXE01
  • suitable for the Cokin X Pro series
  • XL (formerly Cokin X series)

The filter holder is literally the central element in the COKIN plug-in filter system.
The adapter ring is screwed into the screw thread of the Lens and then the Cokin filter holder is attached to it. The filter disk can then simply be pushed into the filter holder from above. The advantage is obvious:

Instead of buying a separate, expensive screw-in filter for every Lens in your photo backpack, a much cheaper adapter ring in the right size is all you need. Graduated filters can be moved variably depending on the composition of the image, which provides creative freedom for photographers and filmmakers.

COKIN's X-Pro series is, as the name suggests, aimed at the professionals of the trade. In other words, users of full-frame cameras, large wide-angle lenses and/or generally fast Lens with a larger diameter. The filter size is effectively the XL version of the system. The adapter rings for this are available in all common sizes from 62 mm to 112 mm diameter.
