Nature observation with solar power and WiFi

Whether as a photo trap in hunting grounds, for nest observation or for terrain and building surveillance - with the Scouting Cam Black400 WiFi Solar, Braun Photo Technik presents a particularly versatile wildlife camera. In addition to a solar panel for environmentally friendly power supply, the Scouting Cam Black400 also has WiFi and Bluetooth. Videos can even be recorded in high 4K Ultra HD resolution, while photos with an image resolution of up to 24 MP are no problem.
The integrated WiFi module enables a direct connection from the camera to the smartphone. The recordings can be viewed, downloaded and deleted via the cost-free app. The annoying removal of the memory card is no longer necessary. The app also enables a live preview with the option of manual image and video recording. In addition to convenient data transfer, the WiFi connection and app can also be used to manage the system settings of the wildlife camera. A special highlight of the Braun Scouting Cam Black400 WiFi Solar is the solar panel, which supplies the battery with solar power. For safety reasons, eight AA batteries can also be used as a power supply if the sun is not shining for a longer period of time. Optionally, the camera can also be supplied with power via a 6V 2A mains adapter.

High-quality day and night shots
Thanks to the built-in black LEDs and the 4MP CMOS image sensor, both
high-quality day and excellent night shots can be taken. The images can be stored on an SD memory card with up to 32GB. The wildlife camera also has a mini USB slot for connection to a PC and TV, AV Out (NTSC/PAL) and a USB-C slot for connecting the solar panel.

Resolution via app
The exact resolution of the photos and videos can be set via the connected smartphone and the app, as can numerous other parameters. Settings can also be made directly on the camera using the control panel and the 2.4" TFT color display. The recordings can also be viewed conveniently and directly on the color display. The video resolution can vary from 4K (at 10fps) to 2.7K (20fps) and 1080p/720p/480 (30fps). The image resolution can be set between 24 and 1MP. The Braun Scouting Cam Black400 WiFi Solar also has three integrated PIR motion sensors with three different sensitivities, a detection angle of 120 degrees, a trigger distance of up to 20 meters and a trigger time of around 0.4 seconds.
The wildlife camera also has an integrated microphone, a loudspeaker, password protection, a time-lapse mode and an indication of the date, time, moon phase and temperature. Thanks to a mounting strap and a practical tree mount, the robust and splash-proof (IP56) wildlife camera can be easily attached to the desired location. Of course, the solar panel is also water-protected (IP65). The operating temperatures range from -20°C to +60°C. The standby time is around six months.
