You get great quality music, extremely clear voice tracks and all the details of effects tracks. The Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G is powerful and loud enough to be heard in noisy environments, such as broadcast equipment rooms where cooling fans cause high noise levels.
Precise level measurement - all audio levels always in view
Two large, bright audio level meters on the front panel have multi-colored RGB LEDs in each light segment. You can choose between VU, PPM or loudness scales with EBU or BBC meters. Thanks to numerous level segments, you can monitor a very wide dynamic range from -45 to +3, from -12 to +12 or from 0 to 7 decibels, depending on the scale selected. In addition, the LKFS (Standard Loudness, K-weighted, relative to Full Scale) settings can be used to measure loudness in order to normalize audio levels for TV and video broadcast output. The bright audio level meters are always easy to read, whether you are working in bright or dark environments.

The Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G supports all common SD, HD and Ultra HD video resolutions. The 12G-SDI input and HDMI 2.0 output also support high-resolution Ultra HD monitoring. Advanced 12G-SDI technology has 48 times the speed of standard HD-SDI and allows you to work at frame rates up to 2160p/60 ? over a single cable. You can connect Ultra HD TVs and projectors via HDMI and monitor any of the 16 audio channels via the 12G-SDI input.
